Mole Day
Happy Mole Day! http://moleday.org/
And to make Mole Day even sweeter, the crockpot lady has shared a very easy chocolate fondue recipe: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/10/little-dipper-crockpot-chocolate-fondue.html
No pictures today though. We're having a not-so-good morning.

My crockpot
If any of you know me, you know I've been having a miserable time with my Kitchenaid crock pot. I've had the crock replaced at least 6 times and the entire unit replaced once. It broke again last night and I was very upset. No more making dinner in the morning and having it waiting at the end of a long day!
I just got off the phone with Kitchenaid and I had to write this post. I don't care if every product I ever buy from them breaks down (hopefully they won't though!), every kitchen appliance that I buy from here on out will be from Kitchenaid. They have always been very polite on the phone (even if I was frustrated) and they have paid for shipping on all of the replacements. Now they offered to refund the full price that I paid for the original crock pot almost 2 years ago because they are sorry it has been causing me such grief! And, they are sending me a box so I can send the thing back to them so they can try to assess the malfunction.
Basically, they are taking a loss on a product because I'm not happy. Wow! As soon as I get the kids fed lunch, I'm going to look on-line and see if they have any other types of crock pots available. Just wanted to share my experience.

Beccah & Rohnan
Beccah looked at my blog and decided it was horrible that I don't have any pictures of her on it. I said, "Really?!" So now I'm making sure that I get plenty of pictures of Beccah, too. I realized I do most of my picture taking in the morning when she's at school, so I'm missing out on my favorite daughter! I'll try for some "I just woke up and hate mornings" pictures tomorrow. Beccah is alot like me and that means she is NOT a morning person!
Rohnan has his bottom middle teeth and his upper fang teeth! It's hilarious and perfect for Halloween! :) So I was trying to get some good shots of his teeth before anything else grows in. It turned into a great slideshow, he has such a cute smile:

This morning
Everett hates it when Aaron goes to work without him. Today he put Aaron's shoes on and tried to open the door himself.
He knows he's cute:
Rohnan loves to go in the bathroom and try to play with the toilet water. Luckily he hasn't been succesful yet! Here he is trying to think of a way to get past the mountain of dirty clothes Aaron just hauled downstairs to be washed.

Volksmarch on Saturday
We went for a Volksmarch on the Banks-Vernonia trail through the newest State Park in Oregon, which happens to be about 15mins away from our house. It was a beautiful hike on an easy paved trail, 11k round trip. We took the stroller, thank goodnesss! The boys took turns being too tired to walk. Though Aidan ran part of it so he could catch up to some horses that he really wanted to pet. We eventually caught them and the ladies riding them were kind enough to get off and let the kids pet the horses. Aidan and Beccah now want to take lessons!
We had to stop at one point because Aidan put rocks down the back of his diaper. Silly boys think of the weirdest things to do.

Tired out
I haven't had a lot of time to post new pictures lately. I took an all day Girl Scout training class on Saturday and learned all about how to set up a camping area, how to cook using a charcoal fire and dutch oven, and knife safety! Now I'm excited to share all this information with the troop, but the rainy season just started and I don't think anyone is going to be too keen on camping for a while. hehe
So today I tried to tukker the boys out but didn't succed until I drove them around in the car. Here they are on the couch after I brought them back in. They are angels when they are asleep! :)
Rohnan didn't want me to leave him on the floor while I was taking pictures:So today I tried to tukker the boys out but didn't succed until I drove them around in the car. Here they are on the couch after I brought them back in. They are angels when they are asleep! :)
He's crawling now, and here are the dirt marks on the tops of his feet to prove it:
They all got showers tonight! Dirty little boys from rough-housing with eachother all day!
